Why u stopped use of fake locations? Are u trying to get gays to be targeted? Or selling the data of location for political use? Should be an option for the user to select this.

I travel.the uk regularly with work, and used fake gps to decide where to book a hotel. .based on the guys in a particular area. Please an this be allowed again..as it really helped me to decide where to stay.

I know using fake GPS does not comply with your privacy rules. However, blocking fake GPS is not ok with many guys. Many guys including me have been using it to track their partners. It's one of the ways we use to find out if we are being cheated or not. Some reasons to unblock it is listed below:
1. If we are able to find that out partner is cheating on us then we can actually decide to be or not to be in a relationship. This helps us to choose a good partner. Mentally, not trying to track my partner currently has affected me a lot. And many other guys have been affected by it. The explore search option is a good thing in your app but still it doesn't give exact location. Infact, today I feel like I am being cheated by my partner. How do I manage this situation? Fake gps was the only way to catch him.

2. Sometimes, our partners sleep with other guys and then never tell us. What if they get some infection afraid HIV and transfer it to us? Also, not all guys are on prep (not affordable) and so, it's easy that they will get hiv. Fake GPS was the only way to feel safe and be sure that I am not being cheated and I am safe from STDs.

Hope Grindr will listen to this problem. Please, unblock fake GPS as soon as possible.

Now that people can't change their location in anyway from their phone GPS it sure does make stalking easier. Now you can triangulate someone's position and know that's exactly where they are! Thanks Grindr! The safety of LGBT people should definitely not be a concern. Now strangers can find your home address in minutes without ever even saying hello!

Why not allow search of HIV status. I am poz and it would be nice to search for other poz or on prep guys without facing all the rejection, stigma, and ignorance of some people. Feels like Grindr is discriminating against HIV positive people.
