It's great to see Grindr is trying to keep users in safe from bots, and safe when living in countries where being LGBT can be the reason for death penalty.

I can't use Grindr on my phone because my privacy. The latest update blocks emulators which means I have to stop using your app. Also mock location is impossible to set and free users doesn't have options for this.

Please, don't lose your customers.

With this they also blocks bots and LGBT hunters which tries to find specific place where a LGBT person is.
I can imagine how hard this is for Grindr to create an app which protects their users, but also removes bots and LGBT beaters

Shame Grindr doesn't support mock GPS. If no change app will change to another which supports (PlanetRomeo).

I live in area where has been cases about gay hunters and beaters. Not wanting to be the next one thanks for Grindr's decisions.

In my case, I live in a population of 1800 and find it impossible to look for friends in my city. That's why I always used location simulators.

Grindr is not protecting user identity. Users who use fake gps apps do want to be stalk by someone. So many user will find alternative like jackd, scruff, romeo, hornet and many many more which allow fake gps. Do not use grindr if they do not bring fake gps back

yes all my friends have jump over to jackd and sruff which is a better apps do not block fake gps

Since they block gps, many grindr user have migrated to jackd( try the new version and they have take away the screenshot fuction now), and planet romeo, hornet as u can see many grindr user have jump to all these apps due to grindr shoot themselves for blocking fake gps apps

Hey been disabled mock location for grindr is meaningless because that's only way that grindr do help alot of people like me so you need to think again grindr is not useful without the mock location so you need to let the grindr app to accept mock location again!

It stops all the bots and fake accounts by a long way.
