I would like to see members be able to report an unlimited number profiles to support, that they believe break Grinder's terms of service. I live in an area where a lot of profiles advertise drugs for sale and have a lot of *** workers advertising escort services, which break Grinder's terms of service. I often use up all of my daily reports by 6am reporting these. Often the same profiles just reappear later in the day.

There should option for verifed account with real profile picture with face scanner. Because there is so many fake profile ,approching the real guy and he is feeling unsafe so there should face verification, with face scanner and there should verifed tick on profile after profile picture verification.

Investigate when someone reports a profile. For example, my profile is handed. I have had it for many years. Sometimes ppl will report your profile out of spite. I cannot get an answer from anyone as to why it’s banned

I did not break any rules and I am firmly convinced of this aspect, if you do this to all people then it is a mess!

Block by device rather than by profile. Stops people been able to bother you with new profiles.

Grindr is becoming over run by bots and way too many ads. Find myself using it less and less and going to scruff. Hope you guys can figure out a way to provide a better user experience while still being able to monetize.

There are a lot of fake accounts that look identical in certain ways and always block you as soon as you uncover them, preventing you to report them, shouldn’t we able to report people that blocked us from a the existing chat?

Why is Grindr doing nothing about reducing fake profiles? There are hundreds of different post here (with different titles containing the words: fake profile). In today’s era of big data analytics it would be easy for you to pick up on typical behaviours of the fakes & pic collectors, analyze behaviour of profiles & post a water mark on a profile showing it is potentially fake.

I just had a guy to take my address, said he was coming over, when I gave him the address and instructions to get here he immediately blocked me so I can’t report him. I guess I’m concerned about what might happen now. It showed on the tracking that he was 3 miles away from me. He is the only person I have messaged with today. Is there any way you can pull up the info if needed?

When someone blocks you, allow the conversation to still be visible for at least 30 seconds. You should not be able to continue chatting, but if the person used abusive language or anything similar, then they can still be reported. Too many times, people get away with abusive behavior because they block their victim before they get a chance to report.

The amount of blank profiles are ridiculous and a very frustrating aspect of using the service. No other app or site seems to have this problem as prevailent as Grindr does. Require profiles to be filled out before sign up can be completed.
I would also suggest to require at least 1 picture, with the option of having a private gallery to be shared with only the people you choose. This private gallery should have very limited restrictions on what is allowed to be posted. Obviously anything illegal shouldn't be allowed, but nudity shouldn't be an issue given the nature of the beast here.
