Drugs, drugs, drugs. That is the only thing that can be found in grindr, at least in Chile

I got a photo that seems like catfishing. Can Grindr check it out?
Also, is there a catfishing database? It would work sort of like a suspect credit card list: It wouldn't rule out honest people, but would ensare those who use such photos.
Maybe Grindr (and other chat sites) can work with Google to create a Catfish database -

There should be an option to only see/ be seen by profiles with a clear face pic without sunglasses, even if it's only available to grindr xtra or unlimited paying subscribers. I'm unlimited and still have to spend a lot of time blocking. Messages from people hiding behind anonymous faceless profiles can be harassing, threatening, and very rude

Maybe if the “tap” default was “hi” instead of “hot” (fire)? Also if the photos could be sent in the order they were selected by the user. Thank you :)

Need to have verified user badge and be able to sort out unverified users in search. Too many fake profiles!!! Users need to be verified through system similar to being a cam model or performer on PornHub. Make it strict to get verified badge

So recently I got banned from grindr. After using Grindr for years I recently got banned. i believe it was due to being reported for believing in a fake profile as the same day of the ban a blank profile accused me of this. After getting banned I was asked to provide a photo of me and my email on paper which I did and got unbanned. No longer than 24hrs later was banned yet again. This time is no explanation and told it won’t get undone. Out of curiosity I tried making a new account with an previous email not associated with grindr only to get banned instantly without even being able to make an account. I find it atrocious how I can now never log in or even Make a new account due to doing nothing wrong whikst there are accounts dedicated to full nudity, prostitution and drugs that stay up. Yet I am not even allowed to make a new account with a new email on my phone. My friend even tried logging in on my phone and it wouldn’t let him. So my phone is banned from ever using the app? I would like to request to be personally contacted over this problem and for it to get fixed. I find it atrocious that I can never make a grindr account again on my phone whilst having done nothing wrong after using the app for years.there should also be a contact phone number to deal with these things. Not a copy and pasted automatic response.

I think Grindr should have a feature of a few simple words under "Report". Such as "**********" or " drug seller" that people can just report by a single click, also consider those are the two most popular illegal activities on Grindr. Grindr does not require email verification during signing up process, therefore I often seeing prostitutes or drug sellers in my area being blocked as many as 10+ a day and easily sign up for another 10+ profile, and for individuals want to help and report they will need to type in a whole word or sentence vs just a simple click.

Agree fully. 6 years using the app and after one accidental misdemeanor my account was banned. No warning or opportunity to remedy the situation. Totally unfair.

There's a lot of profiles offering *** services and drugs in my area (I live in a huge city). Those people make new profiles every day so there's no point in blocking them. If Grindr made the verification by phone number mandatory I believe it would make the community a lot safer.

On top of this, block all unverified profiles, standard please. There are too many people stalking on here, and I don't mean a new profile once a year as a soft reset, I mean a new profile every few days!

Everyone knows that it is necessary to permanently block users, if only because criminals, e.g. drug dealers, they create accounts on Grindr. Personally, every day I report one user who sells potency drugs (I asked him if he runs a pharmacy, he blocked me, so he does it illegally). Grindr blocks his account and he sets up another, with the same photo and the same "I sell drugs" announcement. Account verification should not be based on the device but on the phone number. The device can be sold to someone else, honest. The phone number even a dealer would have a problem to change, because in some civilized countries the phone number can only be bought after presenting an ID card and registering, what criminals avoid.
Grindr keeps criminals. It enables them to announce their drug and drug sales services without major obstacles. I see it every time I turn on Grindr and see subsequent profiles with camouflaged text being the offer (for example, drug dealers use the diamond symbol: mephedrone and methamphetamine.).
The problem is that blocking users permanently for Grindr is UNPROFITABLE. -

They are banning everyone for no reason. But only after they collect their quarterly upgrade membership fees.
