I keep getting messages from bots, bailing for pictures, phone numbers, private information. This is not good at all, especially when said profiles get banned and recreate a new profile within minutes, causing them to appear 3-4 times a day. Freaking ****, do something! This is literally the only app out there doing absolutely nothing about fake profiles and bots.

Blocking. If you get a nasty message from a fella,& they block you,and because they blocked you 1st you cant block them. blocking should be 2 sided,what if they unblock you & you receive nasty messages again... Please add option “Drug-Free” and particulatr drug suboptions to “Tribes” so that users do not have to specify that they don’t use or like particular drugs. Please also add alcohol use and suboptions so users may select that they drink but in moderation to avoid those who drink heavily or have alcohol issues, and have more characters to use in profiles.

Yo tenía una cuenta en Grindr y la usé durante años, sin tener nunca algún tipo de problema.
Me quede unos días sin hablar con nadie y sin entrar en la app, cuando la abrí de nuevo me salió como cuenta inabilitada. Bueno, me quede triste porque tenia la cuenta esa desde años, y ahí tenía mis contactos, mis mensajes... hasta aquí todo bien. Ya que lo sé que no me iban a reactivar la cuenta, borre el app, volví a descargarlo y creé una otra cuenta, y resulta que así de pronto que la cree ya estaba bloqueada. Lo hice todo de nuevo, una otra cuenta con un otra mail y me la bloquearán de nuevo. Cogí otro teléfono creé una otra cuenta, el el otro teléfono funcionó, luego la abrí en mi teléfono y al abrir me salió cuenta inabilitada.
Resumiendo, me inabilitaram una vez, y cada cuenta que yo intente crear en mi teléfono será inabilitada.
Veo que somos muchos pasando por eso, y es injusto. Estamos sendo juzgados y encima injustamente por los de Grindr.
Lo que pasa es que Grindr es una aplicación que también tiene que ser juzgada. En Grindr la gente vende drogas, se prostituye, hay muchos menores, mucha pornografia. Y eso AppStore no está de acuerdo. Así que tenlos que denunciar la aplicación a los de AppStore. Tenemos que hacer que sean juzgados ellos también a ver que van hacer.

Tendría que ser con una verificación de foto y de mail!!! Y la foto que no sea sacada de algún lado, sino en 3D de distintos ángulos. Solo así se van a eliminar los perfiles truchos!

Grindr should add flash photo sharing option where a user can view photo only for 5 secs while pressing the screen. Also deactivated screenshot is a must.

Blued gay app already has these features. It's a high time Grindr add these features.

Me pasó lo mismo y de la nada abue tomé mi teléfono quise ver mi cuenta y estaba inhabilitada, de otro estaba platicando con alguien y de la nada me la inhabilitaron, quise ponerme de acuerdo con el soporte y me digiero que se había reportado y por eso, quise aclarar las cosas y me respondieron enojados que se seguían las normas y que definitivamente está suspendida, quise crear una nueva con un correo nuevo y al momento de terminar aparece que está suspendida por violar, dado que no la cuenta la creo y sigue inexistente, ya hice muchas cosas, bote las apps elimine los datos reinicié , incluso si de baja las dos suscripciones que tenía u me siguieron respondiendo lo mismo, ayer hice una nueva con otro teléfono mas viejito y sin actualizarse y la abrió sin problemas u me puse en contacto con el soporte para decirle lo que pasaba y qué en unos teléfonos más actuales la inhabilitan y en uno viejito no y saben qué me respondieron? Qué vile las norma y por eso era suspendida, en conclusión los pendejor que trabajan para grinder les vale y por no trabajar todas las dan de baja!

Someone is using my photos! This is now the third time I’ve been informed of this in two months. I’ve proved my identity to the individuals who asked me which profile was real. They then report the profile and somehow I receive yet another message today from another user saying someone messaged them last night with my photos?

So, my idea;

1. Someone messages you to say “hey is this you? Which is the fake?”.

2. You know it’s not you that’s a fake. So you provide your social media account/ a verification page to ensure the individual knows it’s the real you.

3. Once you’re both satisfied Grindr has a catfish function. I click the catfish button and a unique code comes on to the screen (perhaps it picks up the chat/ the verification page). I guess this is the trickiest part.

4. The user that initially informed me of that catfish then goes back to the catfish and reports it simply with that code.

5. Grindr does it’s due diligence by matching the code to real individual (me) and removes the dirty fake.

In my opinion these people are just getting away because there is no safeguard. Or if there is, it isn’t working.

Some people are Down-Low and happily, for our own personal reasons, do not want to put our images up on the internet.

I will share my pic with those who I find I am comfortable with and that's my right of choice.

To remove that right of choice is interfering with a persons right to make privacy choices for their own lives.

A image of a tree is still a recognizable image people chatting can identify the profile by.

Being 'out, loud & proud is not an option for everybody and to enforce it is placing people who don't want to be under the same kind of oppression people with same-sex tastes have faced since religion made it a bad thing a couple of thousand years back.

Yes please in Morocco there are motable thieves and drug dealers who claim to be disreet while they use it as an argument so you come out to them and they can steal your stuff agress you maybe beat you !! This future should normaly be permanent with facial confirmation like in badoo so we can still use grindr safely

I think i've been banned by device, 'cause the only device where is not working is on my personal one. This is ********. Cause i still watching drug dealers and prostitution on grindr....

It would be great if the uploaded profile pictures wouldn’t be pixelated. I’d rather like them in a clear quality.
