This is necessary. It's impossible to use grindr right now without being constantly vigilant.

But it seems Grindr company has no idea of product management. In the meantime they are developing / releasing useless features like "circles" or "screenshot alert". Come on!

I want to share my opinion with you. This application should introduce a measure of profile verification. You send the user the code he / she draws on the paper and send it to you. After verification, that image does not have to be public. There are a lot of fake profiles, people are posting other people's pictures, one person is hiding behind multiple profiles. Usernames should be polite, not vulgar (I'm sucking kuras now, *** now, active, passive etc. This can't be a username. This application doesn't have to be a public house. I would like to find a soul mate but how in the sea Grindr has turned into a public house of fake profiles.

Fake profiles need to be managed. Currently we can’t use this app in peace, as you have to constantly be vigilant, nervous, and anxious.

Wow! The number of fake profiles since the start of lock down is outrageous. Our pics are also rocking up on twitter accounts - what is Grindr doing to protect us?

Enforced age and photo verification. Age should not be a changeable option. Users should have the option to show or hide their true age if they wish but not the option to lie about it. Grindr should not be an app for the anonymous. If these measures were to be put into place it would help get rid of fake profiles, spammers, scammers and anybody with the intent of dodgy activities.

Everybody should have a toggled option in their settings to allow messages from those with face pics only.

Genuine face picture! Be gay, out and proud! No face pic, can be someone looking to abuse us and get away with it! Our safety comes 1st!

In an effort to make Xtra membership more valuable and appealing, add a feature whereby only verified members (with photos of themselves posted) can see and message you.

Not just FB alone, I have seen other dating platforms use Twitter, and LinkedIn as a verification source. Grinder is an excellent platform that can implement this feature. The extreme way also is to type in your last 4 of your driver licence number from your state along with your birthdate. It verifies your age and that you are a real person as many people.

I today see a lot fiction (fake) profile, sometimes people they are impersonating me.

I think it would be good for Grindr to require an ID or proof of identity by providing a credit card so that we can all feel secure.

pues leyendo los comentarios de otros usuarios, veo que a todos nos ha pasado lo mismo. que nos suspenden las cuentas sin explicaciones ni razón alguna. y luego ya no deja volver a usarlo desde el mismo celular. PUES **** GRINDR!!!! que se queden sin usuarios! por pendejos!!!! e injustos!!!
