Grindr itself claims that it promotes a safe environment also questionable when verification has been requested year after year. 14,000 votes and yet nothing. Reality is more users equals more advertising revenue - regardless of the amount votes or the safe environment that it will provide, revenue will always come first.

Regardless of the high votes this got this will cause high number of users to stop using Grindr as for most of the guys the privacy comes number 1 see how many profiles don't have pic at least the half of the users will leave of course depending a lot on the location... The users will move to other apps where privacy is better respected, I won't share my phone number etc for no reason!

If this is being pushed on those of us who will not supply personal phone numbers your are descrinating against us for no other reason than you want to alloew our numbers to be used to track us this no privacy at all on a global scale, it's wrong and will lead to tort suits and lost users whom are being descriminated against by Grindr.

Verified real people is one thing that this app really needed because I am sick of all the fake profiles set up by creepy weirdos who hide behind their anonymity of blank profiles collecting pictures for their rub and tug times and then unto reuse individual pics for their own gain which is illegal. This needs to verify not only the email address but the phone number and the device that the account is registered so that people cannot cheat the verification process otherwise it will just be a pointless exercise for honest users

The application is quite good, I have used it for a long time. But expiring photographs should be standard in the free app, only available in unlimited. For privacy and prevention of fake profiles and abuse of users' photographs should be available to all users free of charge. At the very least it is. Several people have used my photos with screenshots. That is why grindr should take this for all versions. Thank you and continued good work.
