This should be mandatory anyways in today’s day & age. Grindr has a responsibility to protect each and everyone of it users. Bring in verification of photo, email and mobile device. You owe it to it’s users. There are plenty of fakes on there. I am fed up of blocking as they keep popping up again. Users can create multiple accounts. My friends mock me by saying am a fool to pay, as we can create different accounts. That’s not the point I tell them. TIME FOR GRINDR TO CHANGE, NOW!!!

I will not take long to delete my account, I do not plan to pay for an application full of false profiles.

They already have that feature. It’s called Scruff.

This is discrimination against *** workers, and it’s unfortunate that in 2020, they still have to deal with this bigoted mindset of yours.

Better way to keep the under age out of grinder
I'm seeing alot of under age people in grinder
Lying about there age. And I'm seeing alot of fake profiles and alot of drug activity in grinder
And profile saying clearskys and people selling nude pictures.
And drugs and other stuff -

When a person signs up to Grindr, there should be some form of verification that takes place before they can access the full features of the app, to ensure the person is a real person and the photos used on their profile are genuinely of themselves as well as being of legal age to use the app.
This extra step at sign up could be hugely useful in stamping out online trolls, bullying or harassment of users and and to stop users from losing their connectivity due to them being reported for impersonation etc.
I have previously had to verify my identity to Grindr as my profile had been reported as impersonating another person but all I had to do was take a selfie with a piece of paper that showed my email attached to my Grindr profile and my user name.
Once a profile is verified then have an icon on their profile to say that this person has been verified. This should add authenticity to the app and make it a much more pleasant environment and ensuring those in breach of the rules are blocked from using the app.

Duration of Expiring photo should be 5 secs, it is more than enough for everyone.
10 secs is too long and defeats it's very own purpose of privacy.
Expiring photo should come as a basic feature for all users and not just for Xtra subscribed users.
Please look into this. Thank you.
