We are all aware of the loads of spam messages we recive every time we are on grindr.
So how about adding a chat filter where you can filter out specific messages or words, like for example those spam messages.
You would also have the option to filter out other things you don't want to see like insults, racial slur etc.

I counted 10 taps to report spam and block spammer! It's really too many.

Let users block messages with certain phrases or keywords in, like a junk filter.

I TOTALLY AGREE on the comments. I am a full paying customer and will often be on Grindr just to REPORT all fake profileS! There are many and often easily identified.

Did you know that Grindr will stop from reporting after a certain number reported? Yet they encourage you to report violating profiles
Did you know the tricks used to be able to post full nude profile photos? Just draw lines horizontal and vertical on the photo, the system won’t flag it and approve it

So how can one help when the system stops you because you reported too many violations? Makes you wonder if this forum is worth our time.

I've reported spam, I've reported harassment, I've reported hate, I've reported unsolicited nudes, I still see the accounts and I still get the spam, so it's obvious you aren't doing anything about any of these things. Just remove the report button since reports get thrown into a black hole anyway she save the app some size.

Reporting spam is frustrating. If you would make it so someone reporting them didn't have to go to another page and could just send the screenshot right from the first reporting page that might help. As nothing is changing I am getting very tired of reporting them.

This is beyond out of control and now they are using women names in their profile. Comeon Grindr DO SOMETHING.

plus if you aren't in a paid status it doesn't even give you the option to block the sender.. you have to click on the message and go through the whole block sender process from scratch even after you go through the pita of flagging spam. Most times I just block and don't bother to report its so painful
