By keeping profile picture the pics are getting cracked and getting blurry. It's a worst thing i saw in gr so plz it's a request from me that plz do something that pictures quality should not get blurry or cracked while keeping profile thank u

My photos in swimming trunks gets rejected each but I keep seeing all these others with the same pose, crop and SWIMMING TRUNKS! And mine still gets rejected. Make it make sense please.

Please remove those I blocked. I blocked for a reason. They can still contact me. It makes no sense. Their profile says that they’re blocked, but they can still contact me and they still show on my feed. I think this is a glitch but can it be resolved? Thanks.

Blank profiles don't give other members a chance to see or know a bit about that person and should be deleted or not acceptable to use Grindr. Anybody who joins Grindr should completely have their profiles filled out with photo.

Why are you not able to block spam?

As a paid member I would expect grinder to do better to keep us safe from up to 15 fake profile contacts per day. These idiots use exactly the same text and pictures over and over. If we can see it, why can’t you do something to filter them out? Not to mention countless guys using your platform for prostitution and illegal drug sales. It shouldn’t be rocket science to search for and blow these offender profiles away. Do better grinder!

I totally agree! I’m tired of fake profiles claiming to be “sugar daddies” that want me to contact them on kik. It’s starting to get really annoying. The feature should be like they did on Tinder or something very close

This needs to be acting on NOW! 2020 and still no real verification process. I don't care about some wanting to stay anonymous. Its a issue when people create fake accounts using other peoples private and personal pictures without their permission, when all there is on Grindr is a email sign up, which offers no way of a safety verification that would put the fake users from doing this again. Phone and picture verification needed, as its a huge safety issue for people who are at risk and who could be extremely vulnerable.

Money should be at the forefront at the cost of safety risks. Even more so since Grindr has been on the news in the past for safety risks.

Why was “new member” removed from profiles? We really need this for safety. I’m bombarded with fake profiles. You can see device ID’s. Multiple accounts using the same one is obviously a scam, etc.

I had grindr premium as a free trial for 2 weeks and really enjoyed the expiring photo feature, it's very useful for users who are discreet like I am, as I have no pictures on my account and I don't like to send pictures as users can screenshot and also I cannot unsend them as a free user. I think the expiring photo feature should be extended to free users as there are many free users like myself who have to remain discreet that would really appreciate having the ability to use this feature

In the past 20 minutes I have outed 6 scammers from West Africa, I won't say how but it is very simple to catch them out. Why don't Grindr put a block on IP addresses from the region, that will stop them getting on the app, well most of the stupid ones anyway. I do report them before they have finished reading my reply as they block me and they need to be caught out and deleted from the app. Grindr should verify much better than they do or not at the moment. You cannot report a profile if the realise you know as they block you and the report option is not available any longer. I suppose I could have a paid for profile that is used just to report them but then I get accused of too much moderator intervention, so I get deleted and they keep my money, I am catching fakes and scammers, not only do Grindr want their members to be defrauded, by keeping the money they are also part of it.

It should depend on the users preference. If someone says they don't want pictures in their profile then no one should send that person pictures. I report people all the time for send me nude pictures because I clearly let it be known that I don't want to see that. However people send the shut anyway so I report and block them. If these people saw me in person they wouldn't do that... So it's not ok on here either

The problem is that most devices have Dynamic IP addressing. This would affect users that have done nothing wrong.

Please allow for user to submit a photo that requires further steps for authentication. For example, once user X sets up their profile they need to take a selfie with the App requesting they do a specific hand gesture. Once submitted the app will cross validate that the already established photos match the requested photo. This will remove so many bots, fake profiles and endless spam from fake accounts.
