Why I cat view expiring photo?

I've been banned. Impersonation apparently.
It seems Grindr consider everyone guilty until proven innocent. They ask for a photo of you, your name, and your signature and the account it relates to.
I am not comfortable with them having these details, I believe it's in breach of data protection and furthermore, it makes no sense -

When we join Grindr, we don't give these details, so they have nothing to compare them to. You could for the sake of it send in anyone's details, what does this prove?? If the person who's reported you because they don't like you, sends in a photo of themselves then they're going to win, if presumably their photo matches their profile - and it might have nothing to do with your profile impersonating anyone. I've seen people use photos of dead celebs as profiles...

ANYONE can report you and frankly there are that many guys out there who will take offense if you say they're not your type, how are you to know.

INTERESTINGLY for a month or so, the app has been allowing me to log in and THEN blocks me after an hour or so.

ALSO i've tried logging on to grindr using my details, on a friend's phone, as a test, and they weren't able to log in - so it has to be more than banning your phone...

It's dodgy, very dodgy. The customer service team do not help, refuse to answer sensible questions and as a result I am joining the spate of customers reporting this to Apple, who say what they're doing is not right

There are guys who take pictures of Expiring photos from another phone and misuse them. Creating a watermark such as "Expiring" (not "grindr") will discourage such activities.

Several people I talk with have all agreed that there are people who, when blocked, keep getting new emails and fill up slots to get their jollies. I cannot understand why Grindr does not monitor high activity with particular devices! They aren't paying customers and they are making the site unuseful to paying customers like myself. I have sent multiple notifications of this to Grindr including the specific postings with no result. I just don't understand as it is so detrimental to the kind if platform Grindr says they wish to be. About to give up, stop paying and move on.

Blocked profiles NEED to disappear completely after they're blocked. Please stop letting blocked profiles continue to show up in the feed. This just started happening within the last few days and it’s ultra annoying. Like when I block someone I don’t want to see their profile EVER again. Come on lol unless this is a glitch you guys are trying to fix and it’s not something you programmed the app to start doing. We free users have to watch enough of the dumb ads that pop up - we shouldn’t have to continue looking at profiles we blocked

Literally getting rid of captions what the entire fuck. It is supposed to be a way to show yourself to someone and now it’s like “look at this picture, guess the meaning. Good luck.” Fucking idiots. Why would you get rid of that feature?!?!?

Why in the entire fuck can’t we do photo captions anymore?!! It like actually helps you tell people about yourself. Just absolutely ridiculous. Do you expect us to cap every pic in our bio I mean really wtf

I don't see them banning the device completely off the site. just individual uses having the ability to block another users device.

Why are my blocked accounts still able to view me?

I am unable to upload photos to send to a person, I can access my photos, then choose the pic it goes to the Next feature but then doesn’t display my choice ready to send

It is a time consuming process to only allow one image to be uploaded to personal album

My PHONE NUMBER got banned, presumably by automation, after I was trolling someone. Except it wasn’t someone, it was a SPAM/BOT profile. It was obvious as my area is swamped with these spam “girl” profiles that tap everyone that’s near, not just me. And I got banned, because of using a gendered slur, but I KNEW IT WAS A BOT! Why am I being banned from using the app because of this? Your service when is comes to unbanning people is Absolute Garbage, improve this shit please.

Whoever can fix this stuff, like its fucking obvious, I was harassing NO ONE, I’ve messaged CS like 4-5 times already without a response.

Has Grindr considered a special paid ad category for massage ads? You know, where they place personal paid ads promoting these services? Instead it’s DL and deceiving to members.

Also - have you considered a RN (Right Now) section? A separate section that members who are actually looking for fun can enter a “room” to show interest? Or even a toggle on their profile to express interest in fun?

Finally....The fresh faces category does not work well. It is usually filled with new members who were recently kicked off Grindr for violating various rules. As a result, these “wrong-doers” get top banner attention? What’s wrong this this picture, Grindr team?

It’s Horror block people need to stay block

Having to deal with faceless profiles just delays homosexual equality and promotes self-hate. This filter should at least be free to motivate guys to use pictures.
With all the ad revenue Grindr receives now (especially with bigger companies such as Trojan), there should be more filters for free users that view these ads. Especially the face picture filter.

Please fix this. It’s so annoying seen these people I have blocked. They not only can see me, but text me.
