There needs to be a better sign up process that keeps the bots from joining. I pay a lot of money for this app. Scruff is free and they don’t have ANY of the spam bot issues that your app does. Please address this in your next update or I will not be renewing. This is absurd.

Spam af Grindr from GayFun.org is almost every other message you receive.
Very annoying and Grindr doesn’t do ánything about it.
All we must do they say is report & block but it’s everytime a new account.
Please Grindr fix your tech!

Can’t you filter and delete messages that were flagged as spam already before? I get numerous messages that link to gayfun.org

This app need to remove all those fakes profiles,that is hurting our community because those profiles just stole pics or ask for money, I see so many fake profiles lately

Grindr don't need to use your IMEI to permanently ban you on iOS devices, they will be using something called "DeviceCheck. I'll probably be banned from here if I post a link, but you can Google "Apple Developer DeviceCheck". It's highly technical, you can't get around it easily at all once banned using this technique, but it doesn't use IMEI, so rather than fight the wrong battle (i.e. IMEI) fight them on the fact that they are unfair by not giving you a good reason for being banned, that their policies stink, they absolutely do have the money, time, and resources to provide this information to you, they choose not to because they don't care .. what do you expect from a company that was owned by an outspoken Chinese homophobe and now two USA straight men. Vote with your feet, cancel your subscriptions and use different apps.

Why suddenpy banned without knowing the reasons

There are so many spam profiles trying to direct people to a website called ratemyshaft.com - Grindr needs to get this under control and it would be so easy to simply ban any profiles with that URL in their description. Grindr is so flooded with these profiles, it's becoming unusable. I've seen numerous complaints about this posted on reddit and other sites. I am going to stop using Grindr soon if this isn't resolved.

Less let's stuck up group of people here would be nice. I'm not sure if it's just a change of times but other cities doesn't seem to be as stifling as this one. I'm not really sure what the app can do about that other than maybe market differently to different groups and maybe stop so many of the prostitutes and ones that are not real

1) Delete the header ads such as the grinder year in review
2) now when I look at who viewed me, I get the what time see more, get “unlimited”
3) unlimited “expired photos”

The Spambots are absolutely out of control. There are hundreds if not thousands of accounts promoting ratemyshaft.com. Why isn't Grindr taking any action? Contact the webhost and report it. All Grindr needs to do is implement a filter that does not allow url's in a profile. Grindr needs to take action ASAP. This has gone on way to long. GET WITH IT! Delete the accounts with ratemyshaft in them!
