I started reporting these spam accts in Dec. I also 'star'd them rather than block in order to see when Grindr takes action on them. Within a few hours the location changes to thousands of miles away. If I select the report option again a message appears stating the acct is "Awaiting Moderation". Eventually some accts do disappearing after a week or two before but there's no indication that it was the result of the app's administration. They use different pictures but the description structure is the same and all accts are attributed as 'white' and 'single' regardless of the apparent race of the picture.

Please stop it all💯

Please require Re-Captcha verification when creating an account. There are so many bots on the app that spam people messages because there is nothing in place to stop them from using accounts. Re-Captcha will prevent all of the bots that are making grindr miserable

It seems every single day I need to report spam, it's always the same messages, although some users don't seem to get as many or maybe they don't notice I don't know. On another website that I use, uses are rewarded for the efforts reporting this and given a week's worth of the paid version of the website. Perhaps you could offer the same courtesy to your users giving you haven't done much to actually rectify the spam situation it seems, forgive me if I'm wrong.

There need to be more moderators to get rid of these very obviously fake spam accounts.

They don't block any of the prostitutes, either, until they're reported; so many fake tranny accounts, sickening.

The monthly membership rate should be lower until you can block all the spam bots and fake profiles. Not fair to charge full price when you can not prevent spam bots or fake profiles from being created.

My account was just banned and I have absolutely no clue why. I've been using Grindr for years. I am always in line with the Community Guidelines. I had no idea I was even breaking them if that's the case, or if I was reported by a user I still have no clue why. I never got any warning. The ban screen doesn't state the violation. Grindr Support refuses to tell me the reason for the ban.

It getting really hard to keep dealing with spam on here and even when I spam all I can it doesn't seem to help or we have a limit of times we can spam. Can we not get better with this with the administration they definitely know when to block naughty pictures but not naughty spamming.

Hasn’t everyone figured out that those sites are paying Grndr to let them spam those profiles !?

There is FAR too much spam coming through. I must get on average 5 messages a day inviting to this or the other site for porn, to get involved at sexparties, to view their pictures on onlyfans etc etc.
It is currently a very poorly run website, one I would certainly never consider paying for!!!!!
