Your approval process for photos is either extremely inconsistent or just obnoxious. My shirtless that shows the top of my underwear doesn’t get approved but a pic of another guy wearing nothing BUT undies goes through? Come the fuck on.

Whenever I want use a photo that happens to of me shirtless it takes days for my photos to be approved, when I’m being messaged from account that feature full bulge and other suggestive images. This is something I’ve experienced as a Black individual countless times and I feel I should be allowed to express myself as I literally see on the app.

Grindr needs to take more responsibility for each fake profile and scam profile. There should be a team that fishes for these profiles removes them ASAP. I’m not tech savvy and don’t know how to flush them out but I’m sure there is a away.
Protect your patrons grindr...if people find value in a subscription, let alone choosing grindr over other social apps then grindr needs to do the same. It’s called customer service.

The worst thing about this digital age and privacy, dont sign up for social accounts.. however you classify grindr, they have the basic same privilege requirements as Facebook, Tinder, Snapchat, Gmail, Yahoo, your banking establishment, the McDonald's app, point should be clear by now.. if it's online, it's being tracked sis.
Go back to flip phones and own and paper.
Orrrr delete them yourself and be oblivious that a digital footprint is NOT going away. Even if they tell you... read before u hit download and allow privilege before reading -

Why is it not possible to send the photos but with the simple copy protection that the expiring function already offers. Let me choose to leave the pic but with copy protection. You would take a lot of work from yourself with all the people msg you, some stole there pic.

Every picture I upload is pixelated. Tried resizing pixels <1k, size <100 kb, to cropping whether prof pic or messaged.

I travel around with work and have used app on different states. And a big percentage of Trans clients are prostitution and alot of those ask for payment up front via cashap and give you a false address. I can't stress large percentage enough. Thought you should know would hate to see app turn into a backpage or Redbook situation.

Grindr is being overrun by ratemyshaft.com profiles. According to Grindr policy, this is Spam. 100% of these profiles have a first name, last initial and are all 25 years old. There are more of these spam profiles than any others. Myself as well as a multitude of other will be leaving Grindr. Apparently Grindr permits this spam to violate their own policies.

Today alone I have had 5 fake spam profiles message me asking if I would like to join a party and if so should click on the link that is sent.
These messages are starting to become far to frequent, so frequent users are starting to expect these messages and ignore them as nothing.
If a user was to inadvertently click on said link god knows what access they are giving the spam profile.
It's evident reporting and blocking these profiles has no effect and makes me begin to wonder if my data is actually safe. Data protection fines can be a platforms downfall.
START DEVELOPING ADEQUATE SECURITY.
Each profile should be required to supply an image of a form of I.D where the details get analysed against the name and profile image supplied.
