Have every member take a live pic with their phone of their face. No account will be approved until a grindr rep matches the live face pic to profile pics. If the live face pic doesn't match what they will post as a face pic they are not allowed to continue.

If you have an iPhone you can do that, when your pictures pop up that you want to send to someone, just scroll up and edit your pictures, remove the ones you don’t want anymore

Whenever someone has stolen my profile or pictures, or I have found some fake profiles, I have tried to get I touch with you but there’s been no way to do it. Same goes for reported profiles, you just do NOTHING with them.
I think that’s something important you should solve for the security of grinder users. -

Be proactive with banning the following profiles when discovered and reported: fake, underage, abusive, drug related, advertising websites with fake profiles.
Allow users to stop messages from profiles over and under certain ages, and if they have a face photo or not.
The worst experience is so much wasted time and being constantly let down, not only by inappropriate profiles, but by an administrator team who let these things happen.

Faceless profiles should only see the written element of the other profiles unless they have paid membership.
New members should be given one week to provide a face photograph of themselves during which they have full view. Then if no face photograph is provided they only have access to the written element of the other profiles. In effect they will only see what they provide for others. This would also apply to headless and blurred body photographs.

Give certain ones a blue verified badge to make us more appealing to the ones who are seeking relationships and dates.

Have a look at fabguys.com
Users can send in a of themselves holding a a piece of paper with their username on it.
That's only an example but Grindr being the most popular gay app in the world can come up with their own method to give customers a sense of security to make them feel more at ease when talking to verified users.
I've had my own pics used serveral times and it's disgusting that users can do that without any consequences.

Make profile photos mandatory
Or at the very least offer an option to have a locked photo for those who aren’t out, and have people have to verify it is them in the photo by matching a random pose etc - this app has waaay to many fake accounts and catfishing accounts -

To have a private folder where you can upload pics and share/unshare that album with the one you want to, notifying the other side about it. This will prevent sending photos in chat.

Add phone verification, it's simple you can't use multiple accounts with single phone number

Just let users flag a profile as spam, prostitution or drug seller. If two flags, then suspend profile until protest lodged and subsequently validated by Grindr or maybe community volunteers.

This sounds like a bad idea and a good way to get hate crimed or accidentally outed

This app needs a verification process, perhaps users should verify their profiles with taking a picture of themselves with their name or a safe word written on a piece of paper and send it to grindr to verify that they’re real.

This is very important, people use fake identities and they do not care what they do to their other individual’s reputation

For no more fake profiles, verify with facebook. Like tinder... With instagram slide bar view.

Make it compulsory that people post face pic on their profiles ! It’s silly to see a tree or a car or boat profile pic or even body part!
