Being able to block by age for people to protect themselves from being seen/contacted by people potentially underage. This can be useful for teachers or doctors etc. But it could also be useful for people who do not wish to be contacted by people outside of their age preferences which can save potential conflict.

If someone says they are going to meet up and they just waste someone's time they should be banned if a moderator sees that someone is flaking they should ban them

Moderators don’t care and do nothing despite actual given proof of catfishing or underaged kids. How hard is it? I’ve given hard evidence multiple times and nothing’s ever been done. It’s like Grindr supports child ****, not surprising seeing how trashy it’s gotten. Once upon a time there were actual guidelines here.

You need as least some form of profile picture before being able to type or talk to someone

Don’t just ban people with out investigation first or do a 3 day suspension with a team contacting that memeber with requirements straight away to stop trolling or jel ex’s reporting you to block all your profiles! Give the member 3 days to get the info if they can’t then do the block!

People steal photos and use them on fake profiles all the time. If somebody screengrabs an image you have sent, it should be followed by a notification on your end to let the sender know. There should also then be a situation where once a screengrab has taken place the grabber is unable to block the sender for some time.

One solution is to allow other users to confirm your identity if they have met you.

Less fake profiles with disastrous grammar & less ads.

Need to make sure people are over 18 but are actually sho they say they are too

It is possible block by device/imie number. This is what grindr does when they Barr a user.

I've asked for this feature constantly over the last 2 years. Ithey have the feature to bar user by device they should also do a block feature by device to stop people recreating account on theit device to get around the block feature

Issue bans & disciplinary actions for repeat offenders of users of blank profiles and irrelevant pictures. Only allow facial pictures. ***** down on cat fishing profiles also needed urgently.

Have every member take a live pic with their phone of their face. No account will be approved until a grindr rep matches the live face pic to profile pics. If the live face pic doesn't match what they will post as a face pic they are not allowed to continue.

If you have an iPhone you can do that, when your pictures pop up that you want to send to someone, just scroll up and edit your pictures, remove the ones you don’t want anymore

How do you know 90 % of the profiles are fake? are you on this app reasrching that fact 24\7 what a job my dear fellow ;and almost as pointless as your point ! Or perhaps you are a fakery in which case ewwww!

Whenever someone has stolen my profile or pictures, or I have found some fake profiles, I have tried to get I touch with you but there’s been no way to do it. Same goes for reported profiles, you just do NOTHING with them.
I think that’s something important you should solve for the security of grinder users.

Be proactive with banning the following profiles when discovered and reported: fake, underage, abusive, drug related, advertising websites with fake profiles.

Allow users to stop messages from profiles over and under certain ages, and if they have a face photo or not.

The worst experience is so much wasted time and being constantly let down, not only by inappropriate profiles, but by an administrator team who let these things happen.
