Totally agree on a verification option as to whether a profile/person is genuine, but don’t agree with a rating system as there are too many ******* on here happy to ruin a persons score out of pure vindictiveness only...

Many users have vague (or no) usernames and unclear (or no) profile pictures. But when they privately share their real name or clear photos with you, it would be nice to be able to set their privately-shared name and photo as their username and profile pic. When you see messages from them in the future you’ll be able to remember right away who they are, rather than have to open the app and scroll back through (however many) message to refresh your memory.

For those of us who aren't interested in *** with people who are high and drunk, or who want to indicate we're sober /clean, add a profile setting for substance use that allows multiple choices: drugs and alcohol, alcohol only, and neither drugs or alcohol. It should also be possible for you to say whether you care about your partners choices, or perhaps, just allow access to search based on their answers. Ideally the former.

They should do it how they do on surge. To verify your account you have to take a selfie in the position they choose directly from your camera not the camera roll.

This x1000. The number of fake profiles is incredible and they're usually very obvious, but you block them and three more appear. Users should need a verified email, as in they actually have to click a link in the email to confirm, and also one account per IMEI device. The rest of us shouldn't have to do deal with that BS because someone can't remember their password or needs to keep deleting the app because they don't want their wife finding out. It's mind-boggling how it's2018 and Grindr still hasn't figured any of this out.

Add "verified User"option that person should use same picture and name which matches to his/her Government ID Proof
