To help those of us honest and sincere members with paid subscriptions. Protect ourselves from an increasing cadre of scammers (bait-n-switch artists), conn artists, extortion and sex workers not declaring prior intentions to ask for a hand out (are you generous?- theres a new one), having multiple profiles to hide their true idenity.
Allow EXTRA/unlimited subscribers to only see or be seen by verified profiles, see the date when the profile being viewed was created and if they are a new member or have had past profiles, (# of), past number of complaints Grindr has recieved on member profile for all profiles known by Grindr to involve theft of property and theft personal identity (Gridnr should be soley responsible for what the value of the property or personal information taken, ie. Government issued ID that must be replace by victim, fraudulent use or access of financial instruments, CC, online banking, or ATM withdrawals, unauthorized vehicle use joy rides break-ins, damage to property, (min $$ amount determined by Grindr), PERSONAL PHYSICAL INJURY, (if a police, fire, ems report or response was initiated by victim.

Set up a cooldown whenever someone delete his profile or disconnect and try to reconnect with a fake profile. There are too many people using fake photos and fake profiles to get our information or our pictures.

If a user is blocked or has their profile disabled for any reason or is reported for a fake profile they should be blacklisted by the IP address from their device so they can’t make a new account with that same device and continue being a nuisance.

Almost all my photos are being rejected, and its a simple photo of myself at a waterfall. This photo is posted on instagram, and GRINDR says its sexual insinuation! 🤷🏼‍♂️

Grindr IS about prostitution and drug use. I was banned because I was turning down dudes who wanted to give me money or drugs. SO Grindr said I was being a bully... Now I'm collecting my approximately 100 comebacks to post them on a blog I'm about to open to expose this ugly truth. Grindr will deliberately leave on profiles only asking for generous or the ones with the infamous capital Ts all over (referencing meth). I've reported several of those profiles and they were never taken down for the few months I was on there. Overall, Grindr is nothing but a disgraced app that promotes prostitution and meth use. It will go down, like CL and other sites/apps have. It's just a matter of time now.

To prevent catfishing where they may be receiving personal data and photos. You could set up a system to verify accounts by face pictures or IDs and have a separate section for verified accounts. Therefore people would be more likely to be genuine and can be more easily held accountable.

Having favourites or even chats with blank profiles makes it hard to figure out who is who later. Should be an option to replace blank profile pic with any or all of the pictures the user has sent; only visible to the receiver. Also useful would be the ability to replace their tag line with their name or see notes from preview.

As I was conversing with somebody who and out of his mind on drugs he started thinking he was talking to someone else convinced that I just stole money from him and drove off in a car that I don't even exist having I have not seen the boy and multiple months I do know who he is and I kept trying to tell him he's talking to the wrong person every time I said that show picture show proof he was more and more convinced that I just robbed him I was blocked by him and then had no longer any proof of his insane fucking mumblings in the conversation where he's out of his mind and now he's going to take my pictures and slander me online with the pictures I showed him that I'm not the guy was just in a car and I would like proof of that conversation and something to be handled PS what is wrong with the gay boys I mean something's going on there just not right

If they kept tabs on who joins the scammers would stick out cause they say and do the same ole crap just in different words and different profiles. They become the obvious and when you call them out and expose them bann their asses. Please we need a real site allow straight females to join the site but don't let them lurer anybody to other sites either here or no sight and they shouldn't have to come out of pocket to meet anybody no generosity. Exactly the same thing happened to me. They wanted me to send my licence number and passport photocopy before they would even tell me the reason to "verify my ID"
Considering they didn't have those documents in the first place, the whole process is stupid

It will not minimize fake profiles instead it would give fake profiles more grounds to try and pretend to be the original person in question as it is easy to get access to emails or phone numbers

Grindr has an exceptional way of dealing with servility that doesn't involve bogus complaints requests and suggestions that would break data protection and also ruin grindrs Fantastic hard work

Verify ID or DL. There are too many minors who’s profile says 18 and they clearly are underage.
