almost 90% of the people contacting me, up to a dozen a day, are "from california (florida, hawaii) but stationed in Afghanistan and are looking for a long term partner. but I have been attacked and beaten in the past, so for both our safety I need you to just do one thing.Sign up at this "safe date" website - don't worry, it's free, they just need your credit card number to prove you are real" - what the ****!!! find a way to block this - you don't even have a category for reporting that this falls into. do you really not care about your premium members at all?

Send email explaining ban. I have unreasonably been banned.... Have no clue why... I assume malicious request by another member....

My friend goes on Grindr all the time and he never uses a profile with his own email. He will download the app when he wants to use it, enter in a random email and password that’s never been used before, browse the app and use it, then just delete it when he is done. Then just does the same routine when he wants to use it again.
I really think there needs to be an email registration process because who knows who’s emails have been used without consent, especially because if he is doing it, then how many others out there are using it that way as well?!?!

You have hem touch their nose to see if they’re real? I have them stuck out their tongue and touch my ****. That tells you pretty quick if they’re real or not. 😂

Can you believe that escorts are now tapping and sending you price lists via copy/paste?
I understand that Grindr makes a lot of money from escorts and that's the reason they REFUSE to block via IMEI & Device ID (zero other reason since Scruff and Hornet DO THAT) & email address.
Can't we have a class action, or someone suing Grindr for 1st-hand procurement? This needs to stop NOW...

Something needs to be done regarding the fake profiles trying to solicit “sugar babies”. These are scams originating from Africa trying to solicit banking information from people. They end up using the person as a money mule to funnel illegal money through the person’s account. It’s very illegal and the person can go to jail. Grindr was once a good social outlet but it has been hijacked by scams, meth dealers/users, and bots.

All the T's send a message that meth use is normal and part of ***** culture. I never see T and party profiles on scruff or tindr....make no mistake: Grindr is the app of choice for drug addicts. Is this what you guys want? Is this the brand you wamt? You guys did a great job tackling racism. With just one message to users I stopped seeing profiles that were racist. Seeing drug addicts looking for other drug addicts is a total gross ***** killer. Please block the T.

What a stupid idea. Do you think there wouldn't be a work-around in a week? i don't have my face on my profile picture but have some very recent pics to share with people in chat, and I usually do early on unless it's a blank profile demanding pics having sent nothing. I'm glad I get to make the choice not to have my facepic on my profile in the same way others get to choose to show their face on theirs. But that doesn't give them the right to dictate to me how I manage my profile. I hate profiles with no information even if they have a UHD face pic bit I will still respect their choice. Even if I don't like it. The point is it's their choice and not my place to question it because I don't like it. The same applies to my picture choices. And if I'm paying for a profile on here, I'll have a tree or a landscape or a car or all three if I choose. And if you don't like it' tap me and I'll block you and we'll both be ****** off about nothing.

I just wish there was a way to insure people are real, I know many girls in my area who use Grindr as a way to post an laugh on facebook. It's sad but true. The uncertainty of who you are speaking to comes with any social media! But it's just a idea of pic verify, Facebook or phone. Thank y'all!

Guys...are u really aware of what you are creating?!!! An option to make group to foster *** parties and orgies where people only connect via *** and drugs. Can you not make an application where people can share hobbies and activities not related to ***? Don’t you think we don’t have enough problems like this??? More and more guys can no longer meet or communicate properly. Can you not help us go back to the time where we were connecting better? Thanks for reading the message

Grindr shouldn't allow profiles without face picture. It gets very annoying receiving messages from users that don't show their face. The fun part of using Grindr is chatting and meeting people, but when people keep writing messages not showing their face they shut down the vibe.

Exactly. Send out an e-mail upon registration that requires you to verify your e-mail. Also one account per e-mail. When Grindr bans someone, ban not just the e-mail, but the by the device ID otherwise what is the point? You wonder why it's the worst app out there with catfish, spam, and stalkers that can make a new profile in under a minute. Absolutely insane for an app in 2018.

Grindr is simply not using DeviceID to block users. You can setup 100 accounts on the same device and same email without ANY problem.
THIS is what needs to be fixed. -

For the amount of money we pay for Grindr Xtra, there needs to be a greater moderation of scam profiles, fake sugar daddy profiles and profiles wanting you to chat with them in an alternate chat app within the first message that is sent. This app has become a haven for fake profiles and needs to be corrected. If this can’t be fixed by a month from now I will be deleting my account and ending my subscription in hopes of getting a refund for the waste of money.
