This way we stop being accused of impersonation after we've already verified with the Grindr mods

Make some kind of requirement to get rid of the spam bots. I am a paying member and am about to cut my membership because of these bots.

They should create this feature because there are too many profiles that are blank and most consider to be fake. Having to verify a photo would be the next step to eliminate fake profile and also from others using someone else’s photo.

Grindr really needs to step up its control of bots. I've been a user for a few years and I've never had this many bots contacting me! I get at least 7 new bot messages a day; it's getting to a point where the app is almost unusable. Really hope Grindr takes steps to address the issue otherwise it's losing a user!

Yeah I've noticed that people you block will sometimes still show up, so either their block system is STILL broken, or people are able to "delete" their account but then reclaim it to circumvent the block, or these people are making new profiles daily because you don't need a verified email address. You have major issues right in front of your face and solutions, why don't you do anything about this, Grindr? Also I've reported them and explained why, not to mention people looking to deal drugs and I still see them around. It's a complete joke.

Getting 100+ messages every day from fake profiles aka BOTS. Trying to get people to sign up for some ID thing to have *** with them.

If Grindr would allow video profiles and short video clips to be uploaded it would curb all the fakes and photoshopped photo madness. It also would be easy to prove one is real.

Daily spam issues. Random profiles giving phone numbers, etc. spam and/or bot issues. Severe.

So you have a huge bot scamming problem! And since you are the host of this app you are liable for everything that happens here! Example Craig’s list. So I think your app and services need to be reported to the fbi! I have tons of screen shots of the how your service is fueling the scammers! So you are breaking the law by allowing criminals to use your services.

I've seen so many more risque pictures on here than the one of me that I try to post and it constantly is rejected! It's honestly bull... Give us a reason why!! I feel like deleting this app because of the discrimination (I guess you have to be a solid 10 to post whatever you want). And I'm a Plus subscriber... Keep your $70 or whatever it was! 😡

The amount of bot messages is insane. At this point includes sure y’all are creating the bots to get us to max out our blocks thinking we’ll pay for more blocks because you can’t seem to mitigate the bot population. Literally no other app has this problem, just you.

Those kids that are "looking for generous" are annoying, and the reason this is a BAD idea is because Grindr doesn't want to promote prostitution. If you see anyone asking for "generous" or "donations" then report them.
