I **** think people should be banned without any warnings (at least 3 x tones). It seems very unfair that grinder listen to 1 of the parties only and make their judgment based on 1 x opinion and ban the user. It’s not right.

I don't feel safe being unable to state that I'm drug and alcohol free. Everyone smokes weed and drinks and I don't want to be around either. You should not be allowed to block specific words at all. Figure out a better way to stop illicit activity or get out of the policing business. You don't get to tell people what to say, or how to communicate. That's ********. People need to stop ******* complaining and report profiles that are engaging in illicit activity and MOVE ON. Enough with this Orwellian ****!

a bad idea. you can already weed out those with no profile image in the preferences. Some guys are just reluctant to post pics.

Drugs sale is rife in Grindr. This is evident every time I open the app, and despite constant reporting and asking for profiles to be closed there seems to be very little effort from Grindr to stop this.
This market is not evident of other apps like Scruff, and it makes me wonder if is because Grindr is not doing enough to block and screen profiles. Which therefore makes me think, does Grindr really care about the community.
Drugs sales, irrespective of your view on drug use, are linked to a wide range of social problems. In London we have young people being stabbed over drug dealing, we have people becoming lost in a cycle of addiction and abuse, and also risky ****** behaviour and related STIs being escalated by the chem-*** scene.
Not all of this is Grindrs fault, and there is responsibility held by the community's liberal approach to drugs in general. It is often seen as a victimless crime, but it is not and never can be in the current socio-political climate. Someone is always being exploited, someone is always being abused, someone is always being hurt.
We should be aiming to support and enrich eachother. A goal which those who put young men out in the street to deal, or will happily hook someone into a chem-*** cycle to make another customer, do not care about.
I have looked through many of the other requests here, and it seems that many people who use the app share similar concerns. So I am surprised that Grindr has not made more effort to screen profiles/report IP addresses to enforcement.
The abuse of the community needs to stop, and apps like Grindr need to show that they care about the community they survive on.
I can report the same profile over 6 times, to still see it up and running many days later. Only to have it eventually closed down when I esclate the issue. How are profiles that are clearly dealing getting through the reporting process so regularly. They could easily just block IP addresses where they see dealing accounts coming from regularly.
I propose that Grindr makes a dedicated effort to deal with drugs on the app, in any way they can.

There must be a way to easily validate a users age 1 time to verify if over 18+ / 21+ / or 30+ .... This at least gives a modicum of security for those who would be to trusting. This is an absolute must. The occurence of underage users on the app is simply unacceptable. Even though it clearly violates the terms of service The potential for shananigans is just too high...

Chance to delete pics sent in chat is one of the most important tool for an app like this. Now we need to block user and than remove the block to delete every pica send in the chat. Please, consider this feedback, cause it's simple to add and it can empower the quality of this app.

This also should be a top priority to make the app useful again. We are struggling with fake profiles

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am very desapointed of what grindr is turning to become. The app is full of fake profile, spam, impersonation, escorts and guys trying to sell goods or trafick drugs!
If Grindr want to stay the dating app used by the LGBTIQ community serious safety measures need to be taken. My photos have been used by so many of the app fake users that I feel my safety is jeapordised. There are very simple steps to improve this:
1- do not allow screenshots click when on the app like many banking app do
2- have users verification policies by sending their photos next to a personal code sent to their phone number to an email adress where you verify they match with his profile photos.
3- Increase monitoring profile by local staff/volunteers from each country to ensure photos and texts are properly monitored and do not breach the term of use.
4- similar to the fact thay nudity is not allowed us profile photos the app should not be allowing faceless profiles! This is a dating app not a chest competition app!
Please do take the safety of your user seriously unless you want an app that is full of fake members and loose its purpose.
Thanks!

Do something, anything, about all the bots that are destroying Grindr!
In the reporting function, there is no available selection for bots. There should be and these bots should be deleted. -

You would need to validate every month or so, as people might,
for example, have increased their weight since it was validated. -

I contacted you once i found out my account was hacked when my cell phone was stolen on New years Eve.
I worked with all my online member accounts to get the changed information removed and password changed on my Manhunt.net, Adam4adam.com and my bank account and credit card canceled and reissued.
Every one of them have work with me except Grindr.
All anyone sees is that someone changed my pictures and reworded my profile so it included someone else's pictures and drugs.
No one seems to care that it wasn't posted by me.
and That this happened to all my online accounts.
Every company has helped me except Grindr who would rather just take my money and then ban me.
I dont care about the money part i just want my account back.
I did not change my profile on new years eve.
I didn't add anything to my profile.
Someone else did.
Please Help me out I have been a long standing customer for years with no problems -

Let people know why you ban them from your app. When you ban someone from your app you should let them know why. The exact reason. I was perfectly fine when I was on it last night and I wake up this morning and it says I’ve been banned. I am truly not understanding because I’ve had this app for at least three years and I’ve done nothing different than when I first got the app and yet now i'm banned and have a new clue why
