We need face verification and verified badges just like tinder so that can prove we are chatting with the real profile the app is full with.Everyone using grindr should be allowed to verify their face on their profile to proof they are the real ownership of the pictures on their profile because most persons are spams,imposter's,kidnappers and even gay hunters.
So if we are all allowed to verify and be given verification badges on each profile with the real pictures I think we will be able to separate the spams,imposter's and evil doers on the app from the real and sincere ones,In other words if you have the picture verified badge on your profile then you are real and people without the picture verified badge will be term spams,imposter's or evil doers.

Definitely yes. Why is this marked as “completed”? It isn’t. Faceless people shouldn’t be able to message me, unless they have sent a face photo. I get tired of asking for clear face pics.

Faceless profiles are often spammers or scammers or time wasters. This would mean so much to us normal users.
It’s kinda creepy that empty profiles are able to see your multiple photos and all info and we can’t do anything about it.
Empty profiles should just be able to see other empty profiles!

BRING THIS BACK AS A FREE FEATURE PLEASE!!! Why would you add it then take it away as a premium service only?

Yes yes yes please. I would pay for Unlimited for a full year if this were offered, even though I go through phases of not using the app at all. Add this feature and TAKE MY MONEY!

Absolutely YES. If this idea is implemented, I would definitely keep premium subscription just for it. Really sick and tired of getting messages from people who don't have face pic. They will message you even if you have NPNC written on your profile. Worse still, many refuse to send one despite politely asking them for one. I believe only by blocking these messages at the software design level would solve the problem. With that said, there should be a slight variation to this idea though. Profile without public face pic should still be allowed to start a chat, but only by sending a face pic (verified) as the first message.

The suggestions here just get more and more stupid the further you go down the list. How about just writing NPNC in your profile and ignoring them if they dont send one? Or dont be a tight *** and pay the few $ so you can have unlimited blocks. Alot of people dont want a public picture up but will send it in their first message if you say so in your profile.

You can use machine learning to identify faces and then add that as a filter option (show only profiles with face pics)

Prescribed lighthearted 'rejection' phrases but with plausible reasons instead of sheer silence? E.g You're nice looking but I have something else in mind or I'm a jerk, I know but my version of hot is something weird altogether ... etc etc

Users have to tick a box to declare if their profile shows their face or not. Then add this to filters.

Make it impossible for profiles without face pics to message or tap others who do want to deal with faceless/anon/discreet users. Gets very tedious having to ask people to show their faces
