Improve the location accuracy

When I share my location it shows the pin right on my house, which is way too accurate if someone in the city just wants to know if I’m nearby. There should be an exact location and nearby radius (block/0.5 mile) option.

The one issue I have with the app every time if men leave the location. For instance when I press on someone's profile, it may mention or say they are three five or six miles to away from my location. Get there's an issue because normally they are at least 60 to 90 miles away, go as far as 200 miles away. I would just like Grindr to fix the GPS issue and get it more accurate so I could have a better chance of hooking up with someone

Location is not accurate

Allow more control to calibrate distance. Many times profiles will show up in the “nearby” grid that are hundreds or thousands of miles from your location. Also, the map feature that apparently shows you who’s close to your location is even less accurate than the nearby grid.

How do I change my location

I get better local results when I don’t pay. When I buy subscription it takes me hundreds of miles away. Looking for a local fine not a long distance thing... thinking about asking for refund...

Set location in a radius around your actual location for safety/privacy. So neighbors/family/co-workers/unwanted 3rd parties can't tell exactly where you are

Mileage changes while having a chat. Most recently the mileage to a chat partner started out as 1 mile and within 2 minutes increased to 16 miles. That's just sloppy.

Also, the "Nearby" filter includes members who are over 100 miles away. What's up with that?

If your going to advertise these features and ask people to pay for this service, then why not assign some programmers to this issue.

When someone sends you their location, it would be helpful if I could use that location in Apple/Google Maps

Staying at a location if one could set some other location where he intends to go after sometime would allow to make friends even before one reaches the destination. Currently you can only change location and see the people around but cannot chat. So normally people use fake gps and set location and chat. If people are already doing that through other means why don't grndr itself provide that option

location can be much better and improve, could be easier connect imap or google map
