Please make taps optional or throw the whole feature away. It is annoying and people need to learn how to speak up if they have an interest.

You can block, go incognito, why not have a button to turn off Taps

Yes because hey or what’s up is much more useful then a tap. When someone taps you how often do you message them or tap them back and get a response? If it’s not almost always then you’re lying to yourself. Taps help make the awkward and degrading first contact process more mutual. If you get tapped by someone then you can confidently message them and expect a response. Which in grindr these days that alone is **** miracle since despite what people say they’re looking for, they only respond if they’re very interested.

Tapping needs to never be removed. People who hate taps need to either disable notifications or realize they serve an essential purpose. It’s not as if many people tap anyways, I do.

Option to disable taps. For some people it’s very annoying. To get taps an no response. Especially when over half seem like bots.

As most of us know, a lot of Grindr users prefer to not receive “taps”. It would be great if there were an option to turn off this feature.

I think all of us that don't like the taps should refuse to upgrade until we have the choice to disable taps

I block all taps and wont upgrade until we have a choice to disable the taps all I receive are ******** ******* SPAM ********

The option to delete all taps would be awsome.
Also, an auto reply to taps and an out of office type reply for normal messages.

Since so many users seem to have a problem with receiving taps why not having a way to turn them on and off?
