The taps I receive are 100% spambots. It’s a useless feature for me. Please, let me disable them or do a better job blocking bots.

Honestly they want to charge is $29.99 for 3 mos of EXTRA and I still get at least 10-15 taps per hour. And it is obvious that some them are fake. Now they come out with UNLIMITED for $39.99 each month. Which btw is more than my monthly gas or water bills. Take advantage of the gay man who is lonely and searching for the love of his life and will do anything up to and including paying ransom prices for a few more features than EXTRA, but NO “disable taps.” I will not renew a subscription for EXTRA and I sure as **** won’t subscribe to UNLIMITED.

Can you remove tap capabilities from your profile? It created a culture of not saying Hi or just sending a message. It’s an annoying feature that Grindr added in my opinion. I want to go back to the Grindr that people say hi to each other when interested.

Give users the option to disable taps, or just get rid of them. Most come from spam bots (I get like 10 a day!), and most users don't like them and don't use them.

Fake taps - more then annoying!!! and the boiler plate txts are the same for one example: "if I'm on here what you think I'm trying to find" I've received about 30 with this exact same text. and every one of course no location and "recently joined"

More people dislike Taps, I'm beginning to understand why.
No real live person is sending them yet everyone all day long is having their mailbox filled with them. They are obvious A.I. regardless of them not selling stuff, and having these lame chats keeping the person interested on the site (I guess)
Keeping these fake A. I profiles in operation, you are not being a authentic to us, your clients. Since you haven't listened to the majority of your customers to get rid of the Taps, how about creating a setting allowing us to either allow Taps or shut them off in our own profiles so we can't receive them. But remove the AI constant creations. Or revamp the whole Tap option

taps are the single most annoying part of the Grindr experience, and ALMOST NEVER represent a real person - they are to domain of bots and spammers. Turning off this function would improve the Grindr app tremendously.

Taps are no doubt generated by Grindr to boost log in numbers for advertising purposes. 19/20 taps occur after I've let Grindr go dormant. For this reason, I think grindr is a ****** service.

Yes, please for the love of God, either delete the taps entirely or give us an option to turn them off! As others have said, it’s 99.9 percent of the time bots and it’s basically just a false alarm when you get a notification for them. I’ve gotten 33 taps in the past five hours all from bots. It’s absolutely ridiculous and beyond frustrating. Please, please, please give us the option to turn these deplorable taps off!

Would you PLEASE get rid of this ridiculous TAPS feature!? 1) They're annoying as ****. ? 2) I'm getting spammed to death to the point I'd rather delete the app altogether - in 7 minutes I got 14 TAPS from bots! ? 3) They just promote people to be even more antisocial than they already have become and not know how to approach or speak to other people.

Most of my taps are as for other sites. Should be able to opt out of taps

Get rid of Taps entirely!!! They are exploited by fake spammers 10 - 20 times a day. Its sensless reporting and block. GET RID OF TAPS!!

Grindr, please allow users to block all taps. That should be an option in Settings.
