Everyone knows this: 8 out of every 10 profiles that TAPS and doesn't message you is just a spam profile. They are obnoxious and most people don't respond to taps even from real people. I personally receive upwards of ten-12 taps a day. Most of them are spam profiles with blurry pictures and fake bios

Add a button that allows one to turn on/off taps for their profile. Taps are the equivalent of Facebook pokes, and I think we all know how we feel when our aunt Karyn pokes us after yelling at some poor Customer Service Manager about an expired coupon 💁‍♀️💅

I hate taps, why can’t they be disabled even for unlimited users? It’s annoying receive notifications and it’s a tap!

They are so annoying and are such a lazy way of interacting. They are comparable to a lazy sleazy guy on the street whistling at you. Like, who wants to respond to that? No one.

If you can't stop the fake profiles who send endless taps all day, at least give members the option to turn off taps.

I agree. Taps are just a way of saying "I'm mildly interested but overall not that interested." If there's no tap button, my time won't be wasted by someone who doesn't care. I'd be just as happy if taps were removed altogether.

Please get rid of the tsp function. It is full of spam and is annoying.

Taps are a fun idea, but they are used mostly by bots and scammers/spammers. I'm fine with taps, if Grindr can implement user verification to help eliminate bots and spammers.

Taps are a major tool used by spammers to establish contact, giving the possibility to users to opt-out of taps is also a way to reduce spam

I have never been tapped by an actual person. It’s all bots and spammers. It has become really annoying!
