BRING THE CHAT SEARCH BAR BACK. So ridiculous to take it away. It’s extremely helpful for locating old chats with accounts you didn’t favorite or pin. Sometimes I swear Grindr likes to make things more difficult.

Still wondering if we’ll ever regain chat search functionality…. Such a huge inconvenience. Cannot state enough how disappointed I am in this core feature going away…. It’s definitely going to make me reconsider my decision to continually use Grindr as my go-to app in the future. Especially as a paying user.

So what happened to this long-time feature? Was it removed intentionally, or accidentally, during the recent upgrade for” messaging?

Please restore the keyword search option that vanished after the last update.

Want search option in inbox. It disappeared after the recent update. Kindly give back the search option in top of the inbox.

Also to be able to delete messages from the filtered search results. I reply to everyone and when it’s not a match I write “sorry not interested” but don’t keep up with deleting. Would like to be able to clear those out

I'm on the pro version and this feature is still available. It's above the top of the message list, so if you scroll to the top of your messages, you still have to pull down to see the search field.

Had this feature like literally yesterday and it was 🤩! Working perfectly and smoothly as expected with more sub options to it !! But Paafff!! 💥 they’ve removed it!! Hope it’s coming back or not shifted to some other higher subscription!! 🥺

This is great in principle. The the code for the Grindr app needs reviewing. I have thousands of messages on Grindr. When I search it take ages or the app stops responding and closes. (It’s not my phone as I have the latest spec iPhone and updates.)
