Both iPhone and Android phones after you type something or read something, click select all and highlight the text you want to Then click the next arrows until you see transate button. Choose the desired languge and enjoy 💋😂🙏🏼

It would be really nice to have such a feature, I also travel and study a lot. In studies, I use the support https://www.capstoneproject.net/ And regarding translations, I use the support of Google translator. This is quite convenient in foreign-speaking countries

It is great to be able to now translate incoming messages but most people don’t pay for unlimited so I need to translate my outgoing messages automatically. Doing it myself with the iOS translate function works, but it is easy to forget. And I lose the English version so I can’t see what I sent them to understand the context.

As already suggested, download the Google Translate app. It works well with other apps. Yeah you still have to switch back and forth but just by copying text, a button pops up on your screen to tap to translate.

It's not perfect but will do.

Also, if you end up meeting the dude, you can speak into the app and it will speak the other language.

This is a horrible idea. Take Spanish for example. Something may mean something in one country and the exact same phrase will get you in a fight in another country. This could be a liability for Grindr

Copypaste the messages to translator, what a problem!:)) I speak 6 languages, so you gotta start learning at least something NOW!:))

I like this idea but as a programmer, I would understand if this feature is not added. It would be reinventing the wheel, because there are tools like GBoard that will translate quickly.

What countries you travel to? How about learning a foreign language?

Just download Gboard keyboard as an app. It translates any language to any other language you want instantly as you type. The translations are spot on too.

Need this and it will make life easier when travelling.... also one won't have to jump between the grindr and Google translate interfaces when trying to translate each other's texts.

Google translate. It can translate text and allows you to write in their dialect. It's even got a speech function for multiple languages
