Be able to delete messages, audios and pictures you didn’t want to send or mistake. Doing this, we can protect our own pictures and avoiding fake profiles.

I had to pull my phone offline when i submitted the conversation as evidence to the police department to prevent deletion... So, uh, deletion is a no for me.

Many good points below. I suspect the biggest issue is people want to pull back their pics. Maybe that functionality will be enough. People are still accountable for what they say.

A really interesting feature is to able to delete sent images for privacy purposes. Lingering pictures sent within the messaging interface endangers user’s identity and privacy, it can potentially be used by the recipient to pose as the individual who sent it, hence posers and identity theft.

Good for privacy. Especially allowing people to delete photos send, or photos expiring after 30 days would be a great idea.
