Anybody alone should have the decision whether to delete their own conversations even when the other person deletes the conversations or their profile.

At best: unnecessary. Most likely: counterproductive.

So I guess you’d be able to tap and hold on a message, and an option saying “Unsend” appears. You could click on it and the message you selected will be deleted from your device, and the other person’s device as well. It would also be cool to have like “bomb” pictures, where they explode after 15 seconds of the person opening them. Also, a feature where you submit a picture, and the other person can only unlock it if they submit one too (a trade) would be cool.

Just like Whatsapp has an option to delete a sent message for self or both; similarly Grindr needs to have an option for deleting sent photos to ensure safety, discretion and to stop catfishing

Give a feature to delete the sent pictures so at least one can delete face pictures in countries where LGBT are banned.

Dumbest idea ever, this will only make people more likely to screenshot your messages and pictures and will only allow a bully deleting his messages so you can't report it.

Besides you can already do this by blocking the person... the convo just disappears on both ends

Bring back the feature where you can edit the chat, select pics and delete them. This allows for a better management of memory use by the app. I may want to keep a chat but not all the pics.

This would make bullying worse not better. At least currently you have a record of any harassment you receive. If you could send abuse then delete it after you see it's been read, there would be endless trolling.
