I like this idea.

This is a stupid idea, unless you can opt out, which you can do, but only if you are an xtra subscriber (I just found that out when I updated the app) so I will be limiting my use of the app, I might even be deleting my profile because of this. This “feature” either needs to be removed or make it so even free users can turn it off.

Awful feature. I'm now much less inclined to browse profiles for fear of giving the wrong impression.

Bad idea. I don't care who's viewed my profile. If they see my profile and like what they see, they'll message me. I'm not on grindr to scroll through and see who had viewed my profile. I'm on grindr to scroll through other profiles and find a hookup. Save that feature for a dating app.

I want my privacy back I don’t want people to see I’ve browsed their profile if I did I would send a dm or a tap guess I will have to unsubscribe from extra.

I personally think it's a great idea.
It would allow you to find someone you find really attractive and who has a profile that matches/pairs well with your own interests, that you may have otherwise not ever come across.
Not everyone enjoys the tap feature and though they may potentially be interested, they may also just not be one to make the first move because of many reasons.
This would allow you to make the first move for certain people if you ended up being interested or intrigued by that person's profile.
I do however agree that it should be an on off feature in settings.
I don't know that I feel it to be fair to allow a person to have access to a list of those who have viewed their own profile while maintaining anonymity of their own viewings.
I feel it should be an all or nothing...
...you want to see who views you...then it goes both ways!
...you dont want people to see who you view...then it goes both ways!

Just a bad idea. The idea of a dating-meeting app is to be able to view profiles and select whom you want to try and connect with, this defies that basic logic and goes against Grindr’s core product appeal. That’s always the beginning of the end, just gives users the excuse to jump to the next best thing and then they never come back.

This is not a good idea. It walks the line of a privacy issue. If this is implemented then there should definitely be away to turn it off. If not then this does not need to be considered

Bad idea, especially if it's an Extra only feature. If it is the case as others have said, should have a opt in, opt out setting, "private browsing"

When did that feature start. I'm an xtra subscriber and it hasn't shown up on my screen thats for sure

On linked-in, opting out goes both way, you can view profiles without leaving a trail but likewise you also cannot see who viewed your profile.
If you opt-in then you can enjoy both features as intended
