Bring back "Not Specified" filter option.
Since the new atrocious update you remove the option to filter with "Not Specified"
You could have simply kept your app the same and fixed all the bugs. But you decided to change the user interface and fuck everything up. The filters don't even work properly anymore. Terrible update!!! Fix your shit retards!3 votes -
LANDSCAPE
Landscape mode - can't use a keyboard without the app rotating into landscape. And this is a chat app, the keyboard makes a difference in user satisfaction. I had to connect from my mac to be able to use one. Having an Ipad Pro with the smart cover (that includes a keyboard and trackpad),

distance controls removed
people spoofing distance in the past has allowed childish and mean people to fool me into going to meet them only for them to not really be there and I ended up in a dangerous place. this should not be allowed and infact should be blocked by your app.

Getting offline
Fill out all the usual stuff, like people do on your apps: smoking, drinking, politics, religion, etc. And also ask them what they would prefer in a match, and whether that is negotiable or not.
Somehow get them to fill out four 25 question surveys, establishing a 0-100 compatibility score with potential matches
Based on the parameters the user sets, match them up
Once the system has matched them, send both users a message, something like “you’ve matched with Sally, do you want to pay $xyz to set the first date?”

Sexual racism
Grindr is complicit in promoting sexual racism, especially regarding accessibility of the app for Black users.
The grid is littered with profiles seeking out and hunting for "Big Black Cock". It's rare to find similar profiles that don't reduce Black people to our genitals and sexual expectations based in myths and stereotypes.

When swiping back (left to right) to the main screen from someone’s profile, the animation should move from left to right, not top to bottom. it is disorienting to have a left-right swip function that is animated top-bottom.

Accessibility Options for the Blind and Visually Impaired
I'm a visually impaired Grindr user and find it to be difficult, at times, to read the text content throughout the app. For example, because I already have my android text size set at a certain level whenever Grindr tries to display text it appears to "run/lay over" other text which makes it very difficult or impossible for even fully sighted users to read. Fix blank profile bug
With this new update, some profiles that tap on from the grid appear as completely blank profiles. Their photo doesn't appear and the profile is completely blank. So you can't see any of their info. If you truly want to view their full profile, the only way to do so is by actually sending them a message via that blank profile page. Surprisingly, that "Say something..." messaging function doesn't seem to be bugged, and will actually send the message you type. Favoriting the profile doesn't even work.
