    The messages tab is flooded with unreciprocated messages (incoming or outgoing). We should have a way to filter them out in order to not loose track of conversations with mutual interest. Could be really nice actually to also have a way to organize all conversations better - maybe with labels, search function, archive, person’s characteristics filters, etc.

15. Stop extorting your users and bring back the block button

    So basically, Grindr Inc. has introduced a “hide” profile option and has officially replaced the traditional block option. So I went and looked up the feature on Grindrs website and found it amusing and condescending that this new feature is being pushed as the perfect solution for us users to rid ourselves of unwanted/unappealing profiles (because you know, we never had that option before. Truly guys, absolutely revolutionary).

    Here’s where it gets interesting. Now if you hide a profile from your grid and you pay the astronomical and absolutely fucking disgusting amount for an unlimited subscription, you’re rewarded with a fresh and shiny new homo to look at and all is as it was. However, if you’re an insignificant lowlife and desperate peasant that pays for Xtra or anything less than; you’re rewarded with no replacement profile and no shiny new homo. You get one less profile from the 600 that you originally signed up and paid for. You’re also expected to pay the exact same amount for Xtra even though you’re essentially dwindling down your list of prospects every time you “hide” someone from your grid and having the audacity to have preferences.

    I do have a question though: Hypothetically; say I’m someone who hates seeing and is beyond fucking over the influx of “straight” men who use their profiles to seek “only trans” profiles while using their own profiles to spread hate speech and share their obvious prejudice towards the remaining LGB-Q community. And say that I; as a GAY man using an app seeking other GAY men - am fucking done with the never ending profiles of trans women and ACTUAL FUCKING FEMALES (seriously wtf). And so over the course of 6 months I find myself “hiding” up to 350 profiles. At the end of that 6 month period and forever more - do I then only get access to 250 profiles? WILL STILL PAY the exact same amount even though things that were previously available to me are no longer available. How in the actual fuck is this fair? Because I choose to pay less than what someone else pays (because you know, I’d like to not spend my entire paycheque on grindr and I dunno, treat myself and buy a toothpick or something) I now have less options available because again, I have preferences? Honestly, you’re a group of fucking morons. But congratulations on making Grindr as appealing as Madonna on her latest world tour - essentially a used condom wrapped in a corset. Fucking cunts.

    Please allow people that pay for unlimited to turn off read receipts. Sometimes id rather just not know if someone has read my message or not it's actually quite awkward and depressing. Makes me wanna stop paying for Xtra or unlimited I find myself more depressed because I know when I'm being ghosted. Hella bad for my mood and self esteem.
