I wish I could still delete pictures from my media page, it's no longer an option
You can no longer delete pictures from your media screen, I used to be able to click it and then hit it delete icon, there is no longer a delete icon

Performance glitches with loading chats
Hi grindr,
Since the Auto chat backup feature got rolled in I’m seeing a lot of performance issues with loading the chats. I see a notification “New message received” but when tap the notification/or relaunch app to view it, my chat inbox doesn’t show the newly delivered messages for a few mins.Furthermore, when I’m inside a conversation the received pictures don’t load anymore until i scroll all the way to the top. At first it may show 1/1 image but when i scroll to the oldest messages it loads the previous images 5/5

Text description is cut off after the first line
Profiles only show first line of text, everything else is cut off.

Explore not working
Anytime I use the Explore function, and use a filter, the ppl suggested are hours and 50/100 kms away from the place I am looking for...and it says 'near...'.
So I use the 3 daily unlock for people far as hell.
If a free feature works so badly, why should I subscribe a plan ?3 votes -
Scrolling to old chats
When you scroll down to old chats and read them and then go out to try to delete it you are sent all the way back up to the newest chats. And then you have to scroll all the way back down again to delete the chat. It’s so annoying! Just keep it where you last scrolled too.
Also I’d rather save my chats to my device! I just noticed that chats that are older than 1 year are all gone! And there are some people that I still like to keep in contact with and now it’s gone! Just…3 votes -

New unread message tab
Need to fix the messages make a unread tab or new messages tab because the new messages system doesn’t work properly at all it’s worse then before I have to stroll through a lot of messages just to find the message I need and that’s terrible

Messages update delay & lagging
After updating the apps, the chat messages refresh delay to pop out a new message. Clicking into an album that shared by others are currently more difficult and stuck in the conversation page.

Une messagerie qui fonctionne correctement
La messagerie est une catastrophe...il faudrait faire quelque chose car depuis la dernière mise a jour la messagerie n'est plus utilisable tout simplement donc l'appli non plus...on ne voit plus les messages non épinglés donc aucuns nouveau messages apparent . On ne voit plus la totalité des messages épinglés et quand par bonheur on arrive a voir au milieu des messages epingles qu'on a un nouveau message c'est qu'on a bien cherché...l'Installation et désinstallation n'y fait rien... Ou puis je trouver et installer un ancienne version? Svp ? Merci

Fix the Delete Message Button
The delete button message doesn’t actually delete any messages, as when I refresh my message section the chats I deleted show up again!

Where is Chat Backup feature and other problems
So this app has been out for a decade+. And it’s the only app out there that has literally gotten so much bugs, glitches and just overall plan out shitty. As of right now 2-23-24 there r glitch’s and crap all over this app. From the blocking/freezing problem, the refresh problem, the laggy chat load page that jumps all over the place and is down right SLOW, the chat message icon lights up when I send a message to someone as if I have a message/replay in my in box, the fake accounts and robots that promote other sites, takes…

Since the change of messages it’s trash
The messages are coming and going and the order of the messages doesn’t make sense at all. They disappear, sended photos are disappearing- it’s really trash now 😂 i just send my phone number now and change to WhatsApp, because Grindr is not usable anymore!! Worst decision.
