Couldn't agree more...it's abhorrent! Their entire UX marketing team should be fired. There are ways you can market that aren't annoying to the end user. To pay an outrageous amount per month for the sole purpose of not get annoying click-bate ads to only find out that you still get ads is illegal. And like you said, it's not just the occasional ad, it's the non-stop relentless ED ads shown repeatedly in one session. No exaggeration here but I get ED ad EVERY SINGLE F-ing time I use the app. There is no way to report them as spam. They show up as messages, you delete...they come back...over and over and over and over and over again. And just when you think it can't get any worse, you get a boost ad pop up. A smarter company would be able to advertise without creating horrible UX. After using this app for years, I am officially done! My subscription ends in 2 weeks. I hope Grindr goes under. The company is mismanaged, the owners suck and their marketing and product design teams are worst in the business. The UX sucks. It's sad that gay men can't have an mainstream app where delivering a good product & service is the goal. Grindr's business model is to charge outrageous fees to make it less annoying.

Yup...and there is no subscription plan where you don't get them. I hate this app so much.
