As a trans guy, this matters because it affects how you’re seen, who you connect with, and your safety. Without separate filters, you risk being fetishized, misrepresented, or matched with people who aren’t genuinely interested in you. It also increases exposure to harassment and rejection, making dating more frustrating and unsafe. Separate filters ensure you’re seen as a man first, not just a category, and help you connect with people who actually respect and desire you for who you are.
