This has been asked for by many including myself over and over again but nothing seems to be done from Grindr, or reply. Can we have some reply if this can or cannot be done and if not please explain why.

It takes time searching for a user by stat search. It'd be easier and quicker if we had the option to search by username or part of a username.

Can we have some reply if this can or cannot be done and if not please explain why. If other sites can do it and Grindr cant must be something wrong with their programming people and does not make Grindr competitive when advising or recommending others what sites to sign up for.
