Users should not be able to have access to other users' distance unless they have their distance open as welll.
It is quite growing that more and more users resort to the idea of hiding their distance but seeing others', if deactivating distance worked both ways, not showing not seeing, more users would be motivated to leave their distance active, (or at least it wouldn't be unfair for the others).
