    Agree with the general consensus. Bad idea all around.

    Also a message isn't creepy just because it comes from an old guy or someone you're not attracted to. I have received creepy messages from guys of all ages.

    If Grindr implements such feature, it's only a matter of time before someone else asks the feature to be extended to blocking people based on ethnicity etc.

    You have the option to simply ignore a message or saying that you're not interested.
