    I'm sorry but as an engineer it's depressing that Grindr don't seem to give even a slight bit of care or attention to spam and scams.

    It's not hard to run a regex filter across profile text and auto-ban accounts that meet easy regexs such as ratemyshaft ratemygirth etc.

    It's like a 10 minute coding and 30m test task and would improve quality of life.

    Unrealistic feature. It would be easy to enhance messages to automatically ignore messages from users outside a range, such as the range specified in search criteria.

    However, this is a guarantee to encourage even more users to post fake information.
