What helped me most was breaking the essays into micro-tasks and assigning each one a specific block in the day — not to finish, but just to move forward a little. It made things feel less like juggling three full papers and more like checking off steps. I found a method on https://en.monoup.com/ that suggested drafting all intros first, then tackling the sections that require the most reading, and only after that switching into editing mode. At first it felt weird to work in pieces, but it actually kept me from freezing up. Also, don’t underestimate the power of giving yourself a short “cooldown” after each writing block. Even a 10-minute walk made the next essay feel less suffocating.
