I know how to settle all of our issues with "searching" on Grindr in one easy fix.
I've read a bunch of different request tonight for all types of ideas.
Quite a few of you are not happy the Trans Tribe is here. IE: men only want a TS, Gay man has to block.
A slew want the ethnicity filter back.
Well, I'm Trans and I'm not a Escort. One day I want romance, movie night, or other times, I could "out Kink" / "out Dirty" a lot of you. Lol. It's the mood right? It's the connection and the attraction right? Or whatever wonderful thing gets you going. Sometimes I want good ol Americans *(any color thank you 😊)* sometimes I want something European.
So how do we fix this?
A new tab on our profiles. NOT A search ...it's... let's say a "DESIRE" tab.
It's a TAB we fill in for our "true hearts DESIRE". Must have everything Grindr has in their minds or is already here. But we can fill in their ethnicity, because it's OUR "DESIRE". As I said, I'm TRANS and I'm a Gemini. I'm already 2 batshit crazy people to start with, then you add in my Trans...well they need a button for just batshit crazy. But I digress, I would love to be able to just see only the men into batshit-crazy Trans. Or Trans with red hair. Trans in a tree LOL ETC.
The Tribes buttons are ok, but when I see a dude I might like ...he's in the DADDY tribe and TRANS. I'll be honest, it's confusing when I discover he's 5 inches shorter than me and looks like my kid at home. Hunty I ain't calling you Daddy.
Do you get my point? If we can fill in our "DESIRE" tab then Grindr gives us 10-15 profiles what have you, like it does now. (The rest are all under the paid. ) Well you know hey that's 10 or 15 more chances of getting exactly what WE want. LOVE for those who are single or need a third for life? Who knows. I mean might really take care of the romance and the dirty filthy behind the dumpster good times at the same time. hahaha.
Obviously, "DESIRE" tab has to be changeable and searchable across the platform.
For it to truly be awesome it should have everything you can think of MYERS Briggs code to do you live with your a Granny. FEET, Trees, small stuffed animals...cotton candy. Lol I'm just saying anything YOU LIKE, it should be there and be selectable. Or if it's NOT, have an empty space for a few tag words. Help it search even better.
BUT THE MOST important PART Grindr my love, don't make every single radio button or question a requirement to be answered.
In other words, I should be able to select Brazilian mocha caramel skin 10in Top and I know I can at least fine three or four folks to come on "popping" up for me to holla at.
Do ranges like other apps do 5'1 to 6'9 height. Tattoos yes or no. Earrings yes or no. Musk y or n etc.
