Yes this is a fantastic idea!
Especially now in Australia as a specific race are leaving off their ethnicity all together then making you guess.
I think they should not be able to see my ethnicity which I make public if they are wanting to be tricky and hide theirs.
Just wastes times and someone always gets offended. -

Why even bother having TRIBES as a filter search option when more than 80% of gay men do not even understand how to use that feature.
example: 50+ year old male stating he is in the Jock tribe. Some may be delusional but I'd say most select that option not because they are a jock (clearly) but because it's a jock they are looking for.
lol funnily enough if the search for jock all they will get is a bunch of men their age also looking for jocks.
so just remove it, clearly gay men are delusional or just stupid.
If someone does not want to list their ethnicity at all (not sure how making people guess is a better option...) then that's fine, but if that is the case then that person should not be allowed to see what ethnicity others are.
If you leave yours blank then you should get blank back.
