This is not a good use of developer resources. You can get implicit distance of anyone by seeing the profile to the right and left that does have their distance enabled. This tells you the range that the profile’s distance falls in. Sometimes that range is so narrow that you effectively do know how far away they really are.
Let’s stop trying to be so politically correct all the time. We are not talking about a hiring process for a corporate job. This is about our sex lives and sexual partners. Not only is there nothing illegal about being racist in our sex lives, I think it is perfectly normal behavior. If I am not sexually attracted to subset of the human population, that is my business. Racism is only illegal in housing and job application, and since this app is not designed to facilitate either one of those activities, filtering by ethnicity only enriches the functionality of the app.
