So looking through suggestions on here I notice tons of votes for different features and such. What I am surprised is that options involving your sexual health are getting very little attention.
It would seem to be that this should be a top priority when you are using a hookup app. I just got notified today that I have an STD. I know the people I’ve been with. 2 people that I met on Grindr and have their phone numbers. 1 I met on Grindr and no contact information other than chat.
It would be nice to have a feature where at the push of a button I can notify this person anonymously that they may have come in contact with an STD.
The only downside I can see to this is people pushing it to be “funny” or cruel. Maybe make the feature only activated for use if you’ve been within 300 feet of this person. Sexual Heath is very important and I believe a feature like this will help all of us stay healthier and happier.
Also, yes I did notify them all personally.
Please consider this for the immediate future. Just seems like common sense to me.
