We should restore the filter. It is not racist to choose a sexual partner on these grounds. Are we stereotyping someone because of their geographical location? Are we ageist because we prefer a particular age group? No. Ethnicity is just another filter. The few who are racist will continue to be so, please don't punish the decent majority for their bigoted attitudes.
There is a valid place for no ethnicity filters - job applications, medical donors. But choosing an intimate sexual partner is not one of them
Yes, we badly need a Verification badge on this site's profiles. I myself have been clicked by anon profiles - actually using photo of someone I know - 200 miles away!
