    In reality, it doesn’t matter what steps Grindr takes to prevent a fake profile. The truth is that if you can make it they can fake it. Grindr shouldn’t have to be high security. Some kinks require anonymity. Should we have to give Grindr a semen sample too?

    Here’s a better idea. Take what you need from Grindr and discard the rest. Don’t put yourself in a situation that is more of a risk than you are willing to take. Or fuck it... take that risk for a change! Where’s your sense of adventure?

    I think if you’re that overly cautious, maybe you should just activate Grindr on your smart phone and then view it remotely from the comfort of your favorite panic room. Maybe switch to Chaturbate?

    Each individual needs to be worried about their own safety. Share your location and your plans with a friend. Take precautions, but it’s not grindr’s responsibility to keep people safe. You can’t save the world and you might not be able to even save yourself. Would it be grindrs fault if you were scrolling through the grid and a weren’t paying close enough attention to your surroundings and you got hit by a bus? Is that grindrs fault too?

    Everyone needs to take their own safety precautions. Grindr is not God and even God can’t keep everyone safe.
