    Instead of only the Grindr app icon having a discretion look, there are additional toggles which would change the UI for those that use the app in public settings that would benefit from a little more discretion. It would also take away the sometimes mortifying experience of opening a chat and seeing a nude pop up taking up the majority of the screen while on the bus. As Grindr becomes more and more normalized it’s appearance has started to become more and more recognizable, which is good for PR but not as good for discrete users, so with these options and maybe even a grid that looks slightly less recognizable, Grindr could continue to serve one of its initial audiences of men who are looking to explore their sexuality via chats or dates.
