    Not a good idea. You can refuse to see someone without seeing a pic and if you want to see a true pic you insist they send one that is self-proving by asking then to include something specific like a thumb touching a lip or holding a cup.

    Also it is a close proximity app. No pic? Offer to meet and check each other out. People met through lonely hearts ads in papers years ago and some still do without any facility for pre-publicising pictures.
