    I've turned off Explore so people can't see me if I'm not near, yet I still keep getting random spam messages when I open the app. The spammers can obviously see that I have just come online which is a clear privacy breach that must be fixed!!!!!!!
    And yes I do report the accounts but they NEVER get deleted so Grindr doesn't give a shit, they just want our money.

    These messages have actually stopped for me in the past few weeks (touch wood).

    There were 2 things that really pissed me off about these spam messages:
    1) they always had the same or very similar wording with the same URL shown, yet after huge numbers of reports Grindr would never filter them out (the work experience kid could do it in 5 minutes); and
    2) the profiles that sent these spam messages were NEVER deleted/blocked -
